Margie Mae Allen

Margie Mae Allen of Kaufman, TX passed away on February 27, 2021.  Margie was born on January 6, 1942 to Luther and Ella Mae Case in Brinkley, AR.  Raised in Arkansas, she went to school in Carlisle, moved to Houston in 1958, Dallas in 1979 and then to Kaufman in 2008. Margie married B.V. Allen on May 7, 1959 and they spent a loving 34 years together before his passing in 1993. She made eye glasses for a living; working with Associated Optical before retiring from Southwest Lens. Margie enjoyed the time she spent with her grandkids and great grandkids the most, especially going to the cabin at Jellystone.  She also liked being outside in the summer, working in the vegetable garden and just piddling around.  Margie was known for her clean house and big hair.  Her son, David Wayne Allen; husband, B.V Allen; parents, Ella Mae and Luther Case; siblings: Buddy Case, Johnny Case, Billy Case, Gerald Case, Freddy Case, Danny Case, Rita Hutton and Alice Jobe all preceded her in death.  Those left to cherish her memory are daughters: Wanda Toland and husband A.C. of Seagoville, TX and Brenda Brown and husband Bill of Kaufman, TX; grandchildren: Suzanne Hart and husband Jonathan, Kerri Toland and Micheal Toland and wife Nina; great grandchildren: Cason Hubbard, Anniston Hart and Emma Toland; brothers David Case and wife Mary of Kaufman, TX and Jimmy Case and wife Debbie of Kaufman, TX; sister Terrie Chapin and husband Kenneth of Dallas, TX, along with numerous extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
