Glenda Marie Sundstrom

Glenda Marie Sundstrom, 70 of Kemp Texas went to be with the lord on June 2, 2021. She was born on May 19, 1951 to Andis Gerald Swint and Dorothy Marie Lovelace Swint of Galveston, Texas. Glenda was married to Phillip Sundstrom in Hitchcock, TX and they were married for 51 wonderful years. Glenda lived in the Kaufman area where she enjoyed her family and friends. She was known for being very outgoing and a take charge kind of person. She worked at AK Security for 8 years and had numerous other jobs. She loved sewing and baking. Glenda enjoyed seeing farm animals and living out in the country. Glenda was a proud member of Roundpen Cowboy Church, and was grounded in her faith. She was truly the matriarch of her family and loving mother. Glenda was preceded in death by her parents Andus and Dorothy Swint, brother Walter Swint, nephew Mark Hooper and niece Tracy Hooper. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Phillip Sundstrom and thier beloved dog "Pacos"; her sons David and Buffy Sundstrom; her daughter Joyce Ann and her husband Lorne Johnson; brothers Richard Swint and wife Kris and Raymond Swint; her sisters Linda Hooper, her twin, and Wanda Raines; and her grandchildren Hunter, Colten, Rylie, and Jonathan (John); numerous extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
