Warren Grant Ruthem

Warren Grant Ruthem, 78, of Seagoville, TX, passed away on September 23, 2026 at home. Warren was born on June 27, 1948, to Robert and Janet Ruthem in Steubenville, OH. He was raised in Steubenville and graduated from Wintersville High School in 1966. After High School, he joined the Marines and served for almost 4 years. When he was honorably discharged, he came back to Ohio and began to work as a mechanic. Warren moved to Texas in 1986 and started working at Excel Logistics, shipping tires, and before he retired was a supervisor. In 1991, Warren married Mary Kathryn Ruthem and they were together for 23 years before she passed away in 2014. He enjoyed going camping and went fishing with his brother though neither one really knew how to fish. Warren loved to go to Quartet Conventions and Concerts and listening to Gospel music. Spending time with his family and friends, barbequing and watching sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers were his favorite things to do. Warren was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Brother. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Janet, wife Mary, and sister-in-law Marjorie Ruthem. Those left to cherish his memory are daughter Renee Smith and husband David; grandchildren: Benjamin Smith and Emily Smith; brother Raymond Ruthem, sister Theresa Giannamore, nieces: Christine Aranda and husband Jake, and Rebecca Flores and husband Edward; 5 great nieces and nephews, numerous extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
