Tommy Roberts, 86, of Kaufman, TX went to be with the Lord on September 29, 2026. Tommy was born on September 14, 1940, to Arthur and Mary Oma Roberts in Kaufman, TX. Tommy grew up in Kaufman and went to work for what was then known as Falcon Steel early in his life. He would work there for many years before retiring.
On June 12, 1964, he married Brenda Roberts and they spent a loving 61 years together before her passing in November last year. Tommy was a devoted Christian and faithful member of the Kaufman First Assembly of God. He loved playing baseball growing up and throughout his life, even dreaming of playing baseball in his later years; and was part of the Royal Rangers mentorship program at the church. Tommy was very family oriented and loved each one of his family members, learning how to love from his mom, Oma. He took many trips to the beach or went on a cruise with his family. Tommy did enjoy his fried eggs, fried bologna sandwiches, red beans and fried potatoes as part of his favorite meals.
He was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great grandfather, Uncle, and Brother. His parents, Arthur and Oma, wife Brenda, sister Patricia Ann Roberts and brother Stephen Roberts preceded him in death. Those left to cherish his memory are children: Stefanie Evans and husband Marty, and Tyson Roberts; grandchildren: Lexi Aljamal and husband Amir, Tori Roberts, Skylar Roberts, and Addison Roberts; great grandchildren: Jaydon Gray, Dalton Evans, Gunner Evans and Gatlynn Evans; siblings: Margaret Lane, Arthur Roberts, Jr. and wife Mona, Mike Roberts, and Mary Howell and husband Greg; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
