Terry Ray Woolverton, 74, of Scurry, TX went to be with the Lord on August 14, 2021. Terry was born on May 19, 1947 to James and Louise Woolverton in Newbern, TN. His parents moved to Pleasant Grove when he was 4 years old and he continued to live there until he moved his family to Scurry in 1989. He married his wife Glenda of 52 years on December 23, 1968 in Seagoville, TX. He enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling (Branson was his favorite vacation spot), watching the History channel and a America’s Got Talent. He had a passion for food and naps were a necessity. Terry served in the Air Force, worked for Desoto Paint, had his own fence business where he was able to work and make memories with his father and son, and then he worked and retired from Dal-Tile. He was preceded in death by his father, James and mother, Louise sister Ima Jane Hopkins and baby girl Theresa. Those left to cherish his memories and hold him dear to their hearts are wife Glenda Woolverton of Scurry TX, Son Todd Woolverton of Ft Worth TX, daughter and son in love Jennifer and John Seltzer of Scurry TX, grandkids Brittni, Michael, Taeghen, Krischan, Chloe, and Gracie. Brother Frank and Eve Woolverton of Granbury, TX. Also, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He will be missed, but never forgotten.
