Roy Gene Wren

Roy Gene Wren passed away at his home in Scurry, Tx on November 12, 2020 at the age of 69 years old. Roy was born on August 20, 1951 in Amarillo, Tx to Otis and Bertha Wren. Roy grew up in Southeast Oklahoma for most of his childhood before moving to Garland, Tx where he attended and graduated high school in 1969. Roy was a veteran of the Navy. He worked in construction for most of his adult life. In 1998 he started Advanced Towing and ran it until 2012 when he retired. Roy was a loving father and husband but being a grandfather was his greatest joy. Roy is preceded in death by his father, Roy Otis Wren; mother, Bertha Mae Wren; Sister, Judy Anderson; Son, Jason Wren; and wife Kathy Wren. Roy is survived by his son Dustin Wren and his wife Courtney Wren and grand children Hannah Wren, Blaine Wren, Wyatt Wren and Weston Wr
