Ronald D. Landen

Ronald D. Landen, 84, of Kaufman, TX passed away on December 7, 2023, in Dallas, TX.  Ronald was born on March 19, 1939, to Bernard and Margaret Landen in Ida Grove, IA.  After high school he joined the Air Force and was a Medic during the Vietnam War.  He was stationed out of Cannon AFB, Scott AFB and Warren AFB during his 11 years in the Air Force.  When he left the Air Force, he became an insurance adjuster and did that until he retired.  Ronald loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also enjoyed traveling, hiking, walking trails, drinking the nastiest beer known to man and watching westerns.  Ronald was a beloved Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and Brother.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Margaret.  Those left to cherish his memory are children: Mike Landen and wife Sherry, Tara Landen, Ronald Landen and significant other  Bonnie Ritson, Dia Welker and husband Kevin and Krista Schlitt and husband Todd; grandchildren: Kara, Melissa and husband Jeremy, Brad, Justin and wife Camille, Jared and wife Jessica, Jacob and wife Laci, Jaedynn and husband Justin, Harper, Caleb, Zach and Tierra and husband Nathan; great grandchildren: Ellie, Paige, Pyper, Peyton, Canon, Connor, Callie, Bo, Justin Jr., Jameson, Malakai and Anthony; sister Cheryl Jarosz and husband Pat and daughter Chelsea, along with numerous extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
