Roger Gayle Braddock

Roger Gayle Braddock, age 66, of Kaufman, Texas, passed away on September 11, 2026. He was born on September 22, 1959, in Ennis, Texas.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, William Eugene Braddock and Nellie Ann Perry Braddock Moore, and his sister, Debra Jean Hunt.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Judy Braddock; his children, Shane Braddock and wife Rachel, Rachel Folsom and husband Cody, and Michelle Gaston and husband Quinton; and his beloved grandchildren, Stetson and Harley Braddock, Bentley and Lexi Folsom, and Parker Gaston. He is also survived by his brothers, Steve and Ricky Braddock; his sister, Linda Bernal; and many other family members and friends who loved him dearly.

In his younger years, Roger worked on ranches throughout Kaufman County, where he developed the strong work ethic that remained with him throughout his life. He later dedicated 27 years of service to North Kaufman Water Supply.

Above everything else, Roger loved his family deeply. They were the center of his life and his greatest joy. A close second was his love of playing the slot machines—something that brought him many happy times and wonderful memories.

Roger will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, hardworking man, and loyal friend. His life leaves behind a legacy of love, family, hard work, and memories that will forever be treasured by those who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Sokol, located at 2622 Highway 34 in Ennis, Texas.
