Robert W. Williams

Robert W. Williams, 59, of Rowlett, TX passed away on August 21, 2022, in Dallas.  Robert was born on July 22, 1963, in Kaufman, TX.  He graduated from Lakeview Centennial High School in Garland in 1982.  Robert worked at TL Thompson & Associates and that’s when he met Cheryl.  He and Cheryl would marry on April 12, 1997, and they spent a loving 25 years together.  He would leave TL Thompson & Associates for a little while, working at several different people as their IT guy, but would come back to work with his wife.  Robert enjoyed fishing and playing his guitar.  He could talk to anyone, telling his stories and talking about his family.  Robert loved his family.  He was a beloved Son, Husband, Father, Brother and Uncle.  His dad Billy James Waits preceded him in death.  Those left to cherish his memory are wife, Cheryl, mother LaFawn Waits, daughter Jamie LaFawn Williams, son Kristopher Goczoll, brother Don Waits and wife Trish, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
