Robert Edward Grant, Jr.

Robert Edward Grant, Jr., age 61, of Kemp, Texas, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 19, 2023.

Robert was born on August 2, 1961, in Manhattan, New York, to his parents, the late Robert Edward Grant, Sr., and Oleta Owens Grant. He worked as a Service Technician Supervisor for the restaurant equipment and supply industry. He married his spouse, Ramona, on October 2, 2010, in Naples, Florida. Robert loved fishing and gardening. But his favorite hobby was “piddling.”

Those remaining who will forever cherish Robert’s memories are his wife, Ramona; son Joshua Grant of Tyler; son, Jason Grant (spouse – Britnie) of Kaufman; brother, David Grant (spouse – Shelly) of Mesquite, and sister, Donna Yarbrough of Payne Springs; his grandchildren, Jaxon, Milah, and Layla; nieces, Jessica Green and Emily Stanford, and nephew, Connor Smith.

A Celebration of Life for Robert will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, July25th, at the Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home Chapel in Kaufman. Friends are invited to share their memories with the family during a visitation, beginning at 10:00 am, prior to the service.
