Robert L. Ames

Robert L. Ames, 88, of Kaufman, Texas passed away May 27, 2019 in Kaufmn, Texas. Robert was born on June 2, 1930 in Decatur, Alabama to Thomas and Mamie Ames. Robert married his loving wife in Forney, Texas on November 27, 1980. Robert spent most of his life as a carpenter and worked for Swartz and Jordan as a foreman for 15 years. He grew up mostly in Fort Worth. After Roberts retirement he began working for KISD as a janitor. Robert is survived by his loving wife Annette Ames of Kaufman, Sons: Michael Ryan and Scotty Ames, Daughter: Rebecca Askew, 13 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren, 7 Great Great Grandchildren.
