Rebecca "Becca" Lopez

Rebecca “Becca” Lopez, age 31, passed away at her residence in Sulphur Springs, on Thursday, December 29, 2022. She was born on August 4, 1991, in Irving, Texas to her parents, the late Gilbert Kersey and Kim Kersey

Those left to cherish her memories are her two sons, Troy (age 9) and Isaiah (age 3), both of Haltom City, TX; her mother, Kim Kersey of Kaufman and Sulphur Springs; her sister, Katrina Pittman (spouse – John) of Kemp, Texas; former husband, Alex Lopez of Haltom City, Texas; two nieces, Shayla and Keira Maggard, both of Kemp, Texas; her aunt and uncle, Norma “Nana” and Bill “Pop” Basham; he uncle, Butch Bentley (spouse – Laurie); her aunt, Vicki Powell (spouse – Brent) of Bronson, Texas; her godmother, Cathy “Mimzy” DeMar of Kemp; and her former mother-in-law, Ana Lopez, and numerous cousins are also left to keep their memories of Becca.

Her father, Gilbert Kersey preceded her in death.

Friends are invited to gather with the family and share remembrances of Becca, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at the Round Pen Cowboy Church, located at 5620 Talty Avenue, Terrell, Texas. A celebration of Becca’s life will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Toby Abbott officiating.
