Pauline Martin, age 73, of Oak Cliff, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, at 4:35 a.m.
Pauline was born on August 22, 1952, in Lamesa, Texas, to Antonio and Petra Salazar. She was raised in and around Kaufman County, where she developed a deep love for family, faith, and service to others.
Pauline dedicated much of her working life to serving as a caregiver in nursing homes, a role that reflected her compassionate and giving heart. Later, she devoted herself fully to raising her two children. Being a mother and grandmother was her greatest joy and calling.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Petra Salazar; her siblings, Lola Segura, Minerva Chavez, Mary Frances Ledesma, Delia “Sally” Cruz, and Antonio Salazar Jr.; her beloved son, Thomas Lynn Martin and cherished great grand child Harmony Rodriguez..
Pauline is survived by her daughter, Petra Gloria; her son-in-law, Juan Gloria; and her treasured grandchildren: Christopher Gloria, Simon Herrera, Paulina Herrera, Desiree Padilla, Caitlyn Gloria, Isaiah Rodriguez, Breysaes Martin, Lilibeth Martin, Faith Gloria, and Grace Gloria. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Azariah Rodriguez and Baby Gloria; and survived by her beloved siblings Juana Cruz, Eddie Salazar, Blanca Salazar, and Maryann Salazar.
Pauline was special to many. She loved to laugh, dance, and spend time with her grandbabies. Her home and heart were always open. She was a woman of deep faith who loved Jesus and prayed faithfully for those she loved. Always asking God for protection, guidance, and good health. One of her most cherished sayings was that God always has the last say, a truth she lived by with unwavering trust.
In honoring that faith, the family shares this scripture that reflects Pauline’s heart:
“I make known the end from the beginning… My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.” — Isaiah 46:10
Pauline’s final farewell will be a graveside service held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name directly to Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home through their website.
Pauline’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her, and her prayers, laughter, and legacy of faith will never be forgotten.
