Ora Nell Cockrell

Ora Nell Cockrell, 68, of Kaufman, TX passed away on March 16, 2020. Ora was born on February 25, 1952 in Irving, TX. She has lived in Kaufman for over 40 years. Ora married John Harmon Cockrell in 1978. She worked for a long time with Eckard. Ora spent time playing with her cats, reading books, talking to her bird, Magnum, watching General Hospital and drinking Coca-Cola. She is a beloved mother, grandmother and sister. Her parents, husband, brother Johnny Womack and sister Pauline Gregg preceded her in death. Those left to cherish her memory are son Tony Cockrell and wife Lisa, son Jason Cockrell and wife Michelle, grandson Lance Wolf, sister Pauline Gregg, numerous extended family and friends who will miss her dearly. Services will be scheduled at a later date at New Hope Baptist Church.
