Neda Joyce Jumper

Neda Joyce Floyd  was born in Ola, Texas on August 27, 1937 to Jewel Roland Floyd and James H Floyd and passed away on January 3, 2026.

Neda had four sisters and three brothers with whom she was raised on the family farm in Ola. Neda graduated from Kaufman High School in 1955. She then married Billy Claude Jumper on July 1, 1955 and they had one daughter and two sons. Neda spent her career working for the Kaufman County Tax Office, raising cows, Boston Terriers, and quarter horses. 

She enjoyed spending time with her family, her animals, traveling, and enlightening extended family on the history of the Floyd family. 

Neda was preceded in death by her parents Jewel and James Floyd, her seven siblings, her husband Bill and eldest son Bruce.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Jumper and husband Mark Wilkinson, and son James Barry Jumper Sr. and fiancé Tammy Little, as well as two granddaughters, Jessica Jumper, Katelyn Jumper Kopetsky and husband Blake, three grandsons, Justin Wayne Jumper and wife Katie, James Barry Jumper Jr. and wife Valerie, Joshua Hunter Jumper and wife Hannah, as well as nine great granddughters and four great grandsons.
