Nancy Carol Cook

December 26, 1951 — September 21, 2021

Nancy Carol Cook, 69, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2021. She was born on December 26, 1951 in San Francisco, California. Nancy was married to Wayne Cook and she lived in Kaufman where she practiced and retired as a Nurse Practitioner. Nancy was quite the character; she loved life and having fun. She had a love for food, desserts, and animals. She never met a stranger and could get your whole life story in five minutes. She had more stories than could be told and her favorite thing to say was ‘MMMM’.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Willis and Aileen Nolan; husband Wayne Cook; sisters Michelle Nolan and Eloise Bower.

Those left to cherish her memory are Godson Marshall Grice and partner Amanda; Goddaughter Paris Bone and husband Steven; Her adopted daughter Leah Cox and husband Benny; Stepson Jason Cook and wife Bridgette, step grandchildren Justin and Lane Cook; Great Grandson Andrew Wayne Cook; cousins Billye and Jack Nolan whom she considered her Aunt and Uncle; cousin Bob and wife Sarah Shaw; also numerous cousins, extended family and friends who will miss her dearly. In lieu of flowers, due to her love for animals, donations to your local animal shelter is appreciated.
