Molly Sue Bell, 84, of Scurry, TX went to be with the Lord on July 4, 2026, surrounded by family. Molly was born on October 19, 1941, to James Caywood and Mamye Ruth Taliaferro in Ennis, TX. Molly grew up in the Cottonwood Community, in Scurry, TX, on land that has been in her family since the early 1900’s and still land that family lives on today. Molly attended Scurry High School till 11th grade, before moving to North Carolina for her senior year and graduated from Goldsboro High School in 1959. On May 9, 1958, she married Robert Bell, Sr. and they spent a loving 60 years together before he passed in March of 2019. Molly worked as a seamstress early in her career, but would work for AT&T, Lucent and Tyco, before retiring. Her faith was important and she was a member of Landmark Church of Christ in Kaufman since 2013. She enjoyed camping, especially visiting with people around the campsites. She also loved eating hamburgers with her sister and cousin on Wednesdays. Molly loved her family very much and her most precious time was spent with them. She was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Sister. Her parents, Caywood and Mamye Ruth, husband Robert, and grandchildren: Robby and Christopher Bell preceded her in death. Those left to cherish her memory are children: Randy Bell and wife Charlotte, Sandy Thompson and husband Charles, and Andy Bell and wife Stephanie; grandchildren: Joshua Bell, Paul Madewell and wife Sylvia, Scott Madewell and wife Tina, Mark Madewell and wife Charlotte, Sarah Rapson and husband Erik, Daniel Thompson and wife Tiffanie, David Thompson, Michael A. Bell, Jr., Dakota Bell, Paige Kight and husband Ethan; numerous great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren; sisters: Donna Reynal and Kathy Haynes and husband Tommy; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
