Mary Lee Lane "Cookie"

Mary Lee Lane “Cookie” was born on July 21st, 1947 in Jasper, Tennessee and passed away September 6, 2026. She was the third child of Warren G Harding & Callie Daffron. She grew up alongside her siblings, Bobby Daffron and Sue Thomas.

She married Bobby Lane on May 19th, 1967. They went on to have two girls, Bobbie Sue Bartlett and Shellie Spindle. This year the two would have celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary.

One of Cookie’s greatest sources of pride was her family. She had a total of 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She devoted her life to her loved ones and created countless memories for us to share in her memory.

She is proceeded in death by her parents Warren G. Harding and Callie Daffron, husband Bobby Lane, brother Robert “Bobby” Daffron and granddaughter Kayla Spindle.

Great Grandchildren: Magnolia Bartlett, Maddox Bartlett, Maycie Bartlett, Braylee Hoover, Mckinnley Spindle, Ellie Hoover, Coen Hoover, Kensington Howard, Cambridge Howard and Townes Frazier.
