Mary Sue Harmon, 79, of Kaufman, TX passed away on June 16, 2026.  Mary was born on May 25, 1947, to Elias Weldon and Clara B. Honeycutt in Terrell, TX.  She graduated from Terrell High School in 1966,
and went to nursing school.  After nursing school, she worked at the Kaufman Hospital,  Dr. Royce Mull for 15yrs, KISD as a school nurse at Phillips Elementary, the Kaufman County Children's Shelter for 23 years.
On September 2, 1966, she married Herbert Lane Harmon, Sr., and they spent a loving 49 years together before his passing in March 16, 2016.  Mary loved riding horse, spending time with her dogs, and watching the humming birds in her backyard, but her most precious time was spent with her children and grandchildren.  She was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Sister and friend.  Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Elias and Clara, husband Herbert, grandson Cody, and siblings:  Brenda Wilson and David Lee Honeycutt.  Those who are left to celebrate her memory are her children: Herbert Harmon, Jr. and Wynette Harmon, grandson Monte Harmon; numerous extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
