Mary Edna Blanton

Mary Edna Blanton, 92, of Kaufman, TX went to be with the Lord on November 15, 2023.  Mary was born on July 9, 1931, to Homer and Willie Pritchett in Crandall, TX.  She has lived in Kaufman since 2014.  On February 7, 1948, she married Archie Blanton, Jr. and they were together for a loving 63 years before he passed away in 2012.  Mary enjoyed sewing and crocheting, watching the Dallas Stars in her hockey chair, and spending time reading.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Willis Mae, husband Archie, son Micheal Blanton, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.  Those left to cherish her memory are son Archie Blanton and wife Molly, daughter Mary Ann Blanton, sister Ruby Salters, 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
