Lisa Elizabeth Aulds

Lisa Elizabeth Wilson Aulds was born on June 22, 1968 in Kaufman, TX to Kay Myatt Wilson and Marshall Don Wilson.  As a four year old, Lisa attended private playschool under the teaching of Mrs. Rush Fox and later started kindergarten where she met and made many life-long friends.  Lisa attended Kaufman public schools throughout her education journey, where she developed a love for sports and became actively involved in most school events.  Lisa always excelled academically.  She graduated from Kaufman High School in 1986.  Lisa married John Aulds from Scurry, TX on June 4, 1988.  They were married for 30 years.  Lisa attended East Texas State University in Commerce, TX where she graduated in December 1992 with a Bachelor’s of Science majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Health.  Lisa was hired by Kaufman Independent School District in August of 1993, where she taught first grade at Monday Elementary School for 20 years.  Lisa and John adopted Kaylee in 2001.  Lisa was a devout Christian woman who loved the Lord and had a close relationship to her God.  Kaylee was the apple of Lisa’s eye.  She was her EVERYTHING!  Lisa was a faithful mother and wife for many years.  Mrs. Aulds was a very well-known respected first grade school teacher for 20 years.  She dedicated her life to serving others, especially children, and had strong passion for what she did.  Her students LOVED her and never walked out of her classroom door without knowing that she LOVED them more. Lisa was creative, talented in so many areas, hard-working, loved to serve others, funny, smart, kind, loving, and a caring and most amazing school teacher.  Her family was her life and world.  She enjoyed family time so much.  Lisa was a wonderful cook.  She loved animals and would take in any stray animal that came her way.  She had a heart for animals like no other soul.  She loved country living and resided in the country her entire life on family property.  Lisa was humble, honest kind and caring mother, sister, aunt, friend and teacher.  Lisa passed away on June 24, 2020.  She is preceded in death by her father, Marshall Don Wilson.  She is survived by her daughter, Kaylee Elizabeth Aulds of Kaufman, TX, mother Kay Myatt Wilson of Kaufman, TX, sister Laura Lynn Throneberry and husband Dwayne Michael Throneberry of Kaufman, nephews: Justin Michael Thoneberry and wife Shana Ray Throneberry of Canton, TX and Jake Dalton Throneberry of Kaufman, TX; numerous extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
