Linda Rae Strutton

Linda Rae Strutton, 71, of Kaufman, passed away on March 6, 2024, at home.  Linda was born on September 6, 1952, to Ralph and Eloise Payne in Independence, IA.   She graduated high school in Irving, TX and lived in Grand Prairie for awhile before settling in Kaufman in 1985.   Linda was an office manager throughout her working career, for several different places.  For 19 years she was married to Bill Strutton until he passed away in 2012. She enjoyed puzzles and reading, going and supporting her grandchildren in their school competitions and spending time outdoors in her garden planting flowers and vegetables. Linda was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Sister.  Her parents, Ralph and Eloise, husband Bill, 4 siblings and great grandchildren: Bobbie, Scottie and Asher preceded her in death.   Those left to cherish her memory are daughter Christy Haning and husband Doug, 5 stepsons and their families; grandchildren: Courtny Garcia and husband Lukas, Morgan Guerrero and husband TJ and Bailee Davis and husband Colton; great grandchildren: Sebastian, Margot, Kinsley, Kyler and Charlie; 2 siblings, numerous, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
