Lester "Lee" Garrett, Jr.

Lester Lee Garrett, Jr. "Lee", 66, of Scurry, TX went to be with the Lord on November 1, 2021. Lee was born on February 23, 1955 to Lester Lee, Sr. and Carole Garrett in Dallas, TX. He lived in Bristol, CT where he met the love of his life Diana Gilliland. They have been together for 36 years loving years. They lived in Oklahoma and Arkansas before moving to Texas. Lee worked in construction 12 years before becoming a custom furniture builder. For 21 years, Lee and Diana built cedar furniture together. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, getting the family together and going to Purtis Creek, camping and fishing. He was a beloved Son, Husband, Father, Grandfather and Brother. His father, a sister and two brothers precede him in death. Those left to cherish his memory are wife Diana; mother Carole, sons: Jason Garrett and Shawn Gilliland; daughters: Leslie Quinalty and Lindsey Gross; 18 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, brother Brian Garrett and wife Kelli, sister Angel Pettigrew and husband Roger, numerous extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
