Larry Dewayne Harris went home to be with his Lord on April 11, 2026, the day before what would have been his 57th wedding anniversary to his beloved wife, Barbara Eileen Harris. After nearly nine years apart, Larry is now joyfully reunited in Heaven with Barbara, the love of his life and faithful partner in marriage, music, and ministry.
Larry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He married Barbara Eileen Harris on April 12, 1969, in Dallas, Texas, and together they shared 48 years of marriage rooted in faith, family, and worship. One of Larry’s greatest joys was making music with Barbara—Larry playing his guitar as Barbara played the piano—writing and sharing Christian songs that reflected their love for God and for one another.
Larry faithfully supported Barbara in her calling and lived a life marked by quiet strength, humility, and love for his family. After Barbara went home to her eternal Father on August 6, 2017, Larry continued to walk in faith, trusting in the promise that they would one day be reunited.
