Kace Dean Leatherwood

Born on January 4, 2008, Kace brought immediate light and love into the lives of those around him, a gift that would continue to shine throughout his 18 years. He graduated early, a reflection of his determination and drive, and was looking forward to walking the stage this May, a moment he had worked hard to achieve.

He was, above all else, a mama’s boy, Hollie’s constant companion, her comfort, and a source of endless pride. To his dad, Kody, he was a trusted helper, always ready to lend a hand, or share a laugh. To his sister, “E”, he was her protector, her safe place, her defender, and her biggest supporter. And to his loyal dog, Kaine, he was a best friend and constant companion.

Kace had a heart that knew no limits. Kind, compassionate, and full of warmth, he had a way of seeing the good in everyone he met. Where others might judge, he offered understanding. His presence made people feel valued, accepted, and loved.

Though his time here was far too short, the impact he made will last a lifetime. He is lovingly remembered by his parents, Hollie and Kody; his sister, Keeleigh; and his faithful dog, Kaine. He is also survived by his grandparents, Kelly and Kathy Leatherwood, Michelle Jefferson, Larry Jefferson, and Sherri Jefferson along with extended family and countless friends who will forever cherish his memory.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
