Jimmie Dwain Hallonquist

Jimmie Dwain Hallonquist, 88 of Kaufman, Texas went to be with the Lord on July 11,2026. Jimmie was born on May 17, 1938 to JD and Jewell Meadows Hallonquist in Winnsboro, Texas. Jimmie graduated Avery High School in 1956. He served in the Air Force as a B-52 mechanic refueling the aircraft. Jimmie lived in Mineola, Texas. He worked for Henderson Glass Company, in Tyler, Texas, as a glass glazer for 56 years. He saw the company go from manual to computerized work effort and through two ownerships before retiring in June 2023. After retirement he moved to Kaufman to live with his sister and enjoyed time spent at FBC Kaufman Connect. Jimmie was a member and served at Quitman Primitive Baptist Church for years. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; JD and Jewell, and brother, Joe Wain.

Those left to cherish Jimmie’s memory are; siblings, Oland, Roland, Charles and wife Linda, Linda H Sewell, Doylene and husband Billy Paul Douglas, along with many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
