In Loving Memory of Jerry Louis Schroeder
April 27, 1942 – September 20, 2025
With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Jerry Louis Schroeder. Jerry went home to be with the Lord on September 20, 2025, while surrounded by family.
Jerry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend to many. He was a man of unwavering faith, quiet strength and a heart full of love. His life was defined by his faith in God, love for his family and service to others. He was an electrician by trade and proudly served in the IBEW Union 59.
He enjoyed checking his cows every day and playing with his dogs. He loved to hunt and fish. He cherished every moment spent with his family. He looked forward to Sunday night dinners when the family would gather around the table for a home cooked meal and family vacations going to the beach and deep-sea fishing. Every Christmas, Jerry would dress up as Santa Claus with his beloved wife Helen by his side as his cheerful elf. Together they brought magic and smiles to their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A man of deep Catholic faith, Jerry loved the Lord and lived his beliefs daily. He was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus, where he served faithfully alongside his fellow brothers in Christ.
