Jacynda Beth Hodgdon

Jacynda Beth Hodgdon, age 46, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at her residence in Kaufman.

Jacynda was born on May 22, 1976, in Ft. Worth, Texas to her parents, Patrick Earl Strittmatter and Pamela (Satterfield) Reyes. She married her husband, Christopher, on October 18, 1997, in Rockwall, Texas. Jacynda was a homemaker.

In addition to her husband, those left to cherish their memories of Jacynda are son, Christopher Hodgdon (spouse – Victoria) of Ft. Hood, Texas; sons, Ricky and Samuel II, both of Kaufman; daughter, Mary Eggleston (spouse – John) of Terrell, Texas; her mother, Pamela Reyes (spouse - Alex); her step-dad, Rickey Channel (spouse – Renee); her brother, Walt Chanell (spouse - Stephanie) of Rockwall; her sister, Layla Allgood (spouse – Carl) of Magnum, Oklahoma; her sister, Kristina Burchard (spouse – Daniel) of Mabank, Texas; her sister, Mary Channell; her grandchildren, Brent Cobb and Fallon Hodgdon; several nieces and nephews also will cherish her memories.

Jacynda was preceded in death by her father, Patrick Strittmatter and her sister, Alethea Strittmatter.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
