Jacob Robert Hines

Jacob Robert Hines, 16, of Kaufman, TX passed away on March 12, 2021.  Jacob was born on October 10, 2004 to James and Donna Hines in Irving, TX.  Jacob, his parents and his siblings moved to Kaufman in 2014. Jacob was a bright young man who was going to school at Kaufman High School. He was very active in the school as a member of the Kaufman Lions baseball team. Jacob was an active member of the Kaufman FFA Chapter where he held an officer position as Reporter and was a member of the Beef Heifer Show team.  He was also a Sr Director for the Texas Jr Shorthorn Assoc. He enjoyed his time playing baseball, basketball and fishing, but was happiest when working with livestock and Exhibiting show cattle. Jacob was a beloved son, brother, grandson and uncle.  His grandmother Margaret Smith preceded him in death.  Those left to cherish his memory are his parents James and Donna of Kaufman, TX,  siblings: Charity Wilson and husband Ryan of Kaufman, TX, Rebecca Hines of Temple, TX, Emma Hines of Crandall, TX and Caleb Hines of Kaufman, TX; grandparents: Robert Hines of Melbourne, AR, Shari King and husband Ricky of Blytheville, AR, Bob Arnold and wife Carol of Red Oak, TX; niece Abigail Wilson, numerous extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
