Iris Onita Blue

Iris Onita Blue, 75, of Murchison, TX went to be with the Lord on May 19, 2026. Iris was born on May 30, 1950, to Herman and Murrel Urrey in Houston, TX. On December 9, 1984, in Rye, TX she married Duane Blue, and they have spent a loving 41 years together. Iris and Duane served on the Mission Service Corp. together throughout their marriage. They went to Europe 9 times, Australia 5 times, Israel 20 times. Iris was the longest serving member for the Missions Service Corp, as she has been with them since 1980. Her passions were telling people about Jesus and giving Glory to her Lord. She was a beloved Wife, Mother and Sister. Iris was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Murrel, and brother Earnest Urrey. Those left to cherish her memory are husband, Duane, son Denim Allen Blue, sisters: Evelyn Dindy and Rebecca Sled, numerous extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
