It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Howard Glen Wilburn, who departed this life on July 1, 2026, at the age of 62. Throughout his life, Glen touched countless hearts with his kindness, generosity, and willingness to help others.
Glen was born on May 27, 1964, to Patricia Wilburn and the late Howard Lee Wilburn. He was a devoted son, a brother, a husband, a father, and the most proud and loving "Papa" to his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Deniessa; his children, Rowdy, Tyler, and Breann, along with their families; his mother, Patricia; his sister, Kim; and many extended family members and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Chaise, and his father, Howard Lee Wilburn.
Of all the titles Glen held in life, being "Papa" was his favorite. Ava, Jacob, Emma, Samuel, J5, and Jade were the absolute joy of his life. His face lit up whenever he talked about them, and every moment spent with them was a treasure.
Raised in Kaufman, Texas, Glen dedicated many years of his life to serving his community through law enforcement, protecting and helping others. Helping others wasn't just his job—it was who he was. Later, he made his home in Bells, Texas, where he continued to enjoy life's adventures until his passing.
Glen found peace and happiness in the outdoors. Whether he was hunting, fishing, or simply enjoying nature, he embraced every opportunity to be outside doing what he loved.
Though he will be deeply missed, Glen's love, kindness, and generous spirit will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
He will be forever remembered for the love and generosity he gave so freely.
A memorial service celebrating Glen's life will be held at Parker-Ashworth in Kaufman, TX on July 25th at 10:00 a.m. We invite all who knew and loved him to join us as we commemorate his life.
