Harvey Leroy White

Harvey Leroy White, 69, of Scurry, TX passed away on May 6, 2019 in Dallas, TX. Harvey was born on September 22, 1949 to Harvey, Sr. and Fannie Frances White in Kansas City, MO. Harvey has lived in Scurry for the past 20 years. He was a Foreman for Chamberlain Roofing and several other companies. He enjoyed working on classic cars and listening to music of all kinds, especially classic rock and country. He also loved spending time watching wrestling and old westerns. He met Brenda Rhoades at a bowling alley in 1986 in Dallas, TX and on August 28, 2004 in Windom, TX they married and have spent a wonderful 32 years together. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother and loved spending time with his family the most. Those who preceded him in death are his parents and 2 sisters: Kathleen Keeter and Wanda Vance. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Brenda of Kaufman, TX; son James Autrey and wife Katherine of Rowlett, TX and their children Dalton, Maverick, Madden and Jacey, daughter Amie Abshire and husband Stevie of Scurry, TX and their children Nicole and Faith, son Michael White and wife Carmen of Dole, MO and their children Caitlyn and Heinman, daughter Christie White and daughter Danielle White; numerous extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
