Gerald Angus Howell

Gerald Angus Howell, 75, of Kaufman, Texas passed away in Sunnyvale, Texas on September 10, 2021. Gerald was born in Kaufman, Texas to William and Sara Howell on December 18, 1945.Gerald was born and raised in Kaufman and spent his entire life here working and raising his family. Gerald married the love of his life Wanda Lynn Hunsaker and has since been married 59 loving years.  He owned and operated Howell Motor Company in Kaufman for 43 years. He was involved in the cattle business for most of his life. Gerald truly loved and supported his family in every possible way he could. He was a man of his word, the kind of man that did not meet a stranger.  Gerald had lots of true friends who he loved like family.  He volunteered his time on Sunday to drive the church bus. Gerald will be missed by all those who loved him. His parents, Willy and Sara, and siblings: Fern Howell, Margaret Evans, Frances Busby, J.D. Howell, Bud Howell and infant Ruth Ann Howell preceded him in death.  He is survived by his wife Wanda Lynn, Sons: Tim Howell and wife Marcey, Jim Howell and wife Morgan; Daughter: Kim Zaby and husband John: Siblings: Gayle Howell and wife Janice, Jimmy Mae Turner; Grandchildren: Kelsy Hodge, Katlyn Zaby, Dylan Howell, Jake Howell, Colton Howell, Cheyenne Howell, Maddie Howell, Carley Gaither, Erin Bourquin, Wyatt Bourquin; Great-Grandchildren: Brayden Chilton, Kade Zaby, Sofia Hodge, Spencer Gaither, Jessie Gaither.
