Gerald Wesley Haning

Gerald Wesley Haning, 58, of Kaufman, TX went to be with the Lord on May 10, 2022.  Gerald was born on May 6, 1964, to Jerry Haning and Nancy Easter in Dallas, TX.  Gerald grew up in Kaufman, graduating from Kaufman High School in 1982.  He was an entrepreneur throughout his life.  Gerald was a member of the AQHA.  He loved team roping and participated in many events over the past 20 years.  Gerald also enjoyed hunting, boating, racing and anything else that literally and figuratively had horsepower. Gerald also loved to entertain family and friends and was always the life of any party.  Gerald married Lucy Haning on December 8, 2017, in Stephenville, TX.  He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother.  Gerald was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.  Those left to cherish his memory are wife Lucy, daughters: Meghan Ortowski and husband Cody, Britny Malhi and husband Aman; step-sons: Jayme Burley, Elijah Burley, and Jeremy Bruner; 9 grandchildren, brother Doug, sister Kellie, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
