Edith Robison

Edith Robison, 97, of Cottonwood, TX went to be with the Lord on August 21, 2020 at home. Edith was born on April 20, 1923 to Dewitt and Lena Morris in Scurry, TX. She was raised and lived in Scurry her whole life and went to Scurry-Rosser schools. Edith was married to Jessie James Robison for 52 years before he passed away. She loved to cook, sew and garden. She loved her flowers that grew in her garden. Most of all, she took care of her family; loving her husband, raising her kids and spending time with her grandkids. Edith was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Those who preceded her in death are her parents, husband, baby daughter Jenny Lynn Robison, sons: Jimmy Robison and Bruce Robison. Those left to cherish her memory are daughters: Jessie Stone and husband Richard, Ora Dale Layne and husband David and Susie Moore and husband Michael; grandchildren: Barry Stone and wife Johjana, Rhonda Godbey and husband Scott, Angela Blackbury and husband Tommy, Laura Singer and husband Jim, James Layne, Keegan Moore and wife Sarah, Audie Moore and wife Vanessa, Laura Garcia and husband Eddie and Erin Ramsey and husband Nathan; great grandchildren: Aimee Layne, Maci Godbey, Lexi Godbey, Nolan Stone, Hunter Moore, Blake Moore, Jackson Singer. Brooklyn Singer, Cody Layne, Colin Layne, Cooper Layne, Emma Layne, Melanie Moore, Travis Moore and Jamie Moore; numerous extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
