He was born February 26, 1961 to Auddie & Louise Mooneyham in Dallas, Tx.

Danny was preceded in death by his mother.

He accepted the Lord in 1971.

Some things you might not have known about Danny, He was genius smart.

He always wanted to learn to fly. In 1977, at the age of 16, we would make the drive to the Lancaster Airport so he could attend ground school on Thursday nights. He excelled in class and his instructor said he was ready to solo before completing the course. This made Mom and Dad very nervous, him being so young. Unfortunately, he was color-blind, so he would not get his license to fly. He still loved anything planes.

After graduation in 1979 from Kaufman High School, he enlisted in the US Air Force where he obtained the rank Sergeant. He was stationed in England where he was able to serve and travel to other countries.

After retiring from the service, he came home to Kaufman where he lived out his days. He ran heavy machinery for the city of Kaufman before starting his career driving 18 wheelers.

Over the years he enjoyed many hobbies which included gaming, RC car racing, flying model planes & telescope photography.

Danny was a quiet man that kept to himself for the most part, but if you needed him, he was always just a phone call away. He loved a good debate. The Bible was one of his favorite subjects. He has read the Bible from cover-to- cover I know of 3 times. The other subject would be politics. He would throw out one-liners and sit back to see where the conversation would go.

He loved his family.

He is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer Zietler of San Antonio, Tx, Hannah Mooneyham & husband Noah Gonyea of Kaufman, Tx. Grandchildren include Gerry De la Garza, Aubrey Zietler & Blake Zietler of San Antonio, Tx. Others include father, sister and many extended family and friends that will miss him terribly.

He will always be remembered fondly as "Fuzzy Grandpa" and "Fuzzy Uncle".
