Cipriano Faz

Cipriano Faz, age 70, of Kaufman, Texas, passed away suddenly, Thursday, May 4, 2023.

Cipriano was born on September 16, 1952, in San Luis, Mexico, and was born to his father, the late Macario Faz and his mother, the late Dionisia Leija. Cipriano married his wife of 44 years, Maria while in Mexico. He became a Citizen of the United States in March 1993. He retired from ABOX, following 31 years of service. He loved to go to flea markets, loved scrapping metal, going to garage sales, and repairing anything that did not work. He was immensely proud of his family and loved the Wednesday night family dinners.

Those of his family that are left to cherish his memories are his wife, Maria: daughter Diana Aguilar of Dallas; Cristina Sota (spouse – Jose) of Kaufman, Erika Faz (spouse Ricky Pedroza) of Kaufman, Adriana Espinosa (spouse – Christopher) of Kaufman; his sons, Juan Faz (spouse – Sendi) of Kaufman, and Cipriano Faz (spouse – Jecenia) of Mesquite; brothers, Guadalupe Faz and Jose Faz, both of Dallas; brother, Angel Faz, Laredo, Texas, and Rogelio Faz of Laredo, Mexico; three sisters, Elia Martinez, Anna Faz, and Colastica Faz, all of Dallas. Fourteen grandchildren remain to cherish those special memories of their grandfather.

In addition to his parents, Cipriano was preceded in death by his brother, Fransico Faz, and one grandson, Robert Jose Faz.

Friends are invited to gather with the family to share their memories and stories of Cipriano from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at the Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home at 2217 S. Washington St., in Kaufman. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, May 10^th at 11:00 am, at the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Abraham Garcia officiating.
