Christy Michelle Slayton

Christy Michelle Slayton, of Kaufman, TX passed away on September 14, 2019 in Dallas, TX. Christy was born to Byron Harmon and Frances Gonzalez Fry on August 9, 1989 in Dallas. She spent her whole life in Kaufman graduating from Kaufman high school in 2007. Christy married Cory Slayton on December 27, 2007 in Scurry, TX and spent a wonderful 11 years together. She loved to take care of people in her career as a home health aid or even outside her job. Her most precious time was spent with her family, husband and three kids. Christy was a loving daughter, wife, mother and sister. Those left to cherish her memory include her parents, husband Cory, 3 children: Castle Slayton, Caleb Slayton and Elijah Fry-Slayton; brother Samuel Harmon, sister Kimberly Harmon, grandmother Donna Lackey numerous extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
