Christy Lynne Clifton

Christy Lynne Clifton, beloved daughter, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2023, in Tyler, Texas. She was born on April 19, 1969, in Dallas, Texas. Christy's passing came after a courageous battle with a lengthy illness. She was surrounded by love and support of her family and friends.

Christy's memory will forever be cherished by her father Earl Clifton and mother Donna McCurley Clifton. She was a loving sister to Lance Clifton and an adored aunt to Eva and Jenna Clifton (nieces) and Jared Clifton (nephew). Christy shared a special bond with her maternal grandparents Kenneth and Billie McCurley, as well as her paternal grandmother Mildred Frances.

Christy's journey through life was marked by her dedication to education. She proudly graduated from Seagoville High School and pursued her passion for beauty by completing Beauty School. Her commitment to learning served as an inspiration to those around her.

In addition to her academic achievements, Christy possessed a vibrant spirit that touched the lives of everyone she met. Her warm smile could brighten even the darkest moments. Christy had an infectious laugh that could fill a room with joy. She had an innate ability to make people feel valued and loved.

Beyond her studies and infectious personality, Christy possessed a caring nature that extended far beyond herself. She approached life with empathy and kindness, always willing to lend an ear or offer a supportive shoulder. Christy's compassionate heart touched the lives of many during their times of need.

While we mourn Christy's departure from our lives, we are comforted by the memories we shared together. She will always be remembered for her unwavering strength, courage in the face of adversity, and dedication to those she loved. The impact she made during her time on Earth will continue to resonate in our hearts.

Family and friends are invited to honor Christy's life at a Graveside Service, scheduled for January 2, 2024, at the Crandall Cemetery. The service will begin at 12:00 PM, with Dr. Jonathan Lilly, PhD, officiating. The cemetery is located at 102 Trinity Road in Crandall, Texas.
