Charlie Scoggins

Charlie Scoggins, 87, of Kaufman, TX passed away on April 10, 2023, at home.  Charlie was born on December 8, 1935, to Wylie and Audrey Scoggins in Lueders, TX.  He settled in the Dallas area in 1954, moved to Anderson County in 2010 and then moved to Kaufman in 2019.  He enjoyed bird-watching, traveling with his friend Lavinia Taylor, hunting, and fishing when he was younger.  He was preceded in death by his parents, children: Lysa Annette Mitchell, Lou Ann Hamilton and William Glenn Scoggins; first wife Dorothy Claudine Scoggins and second wife Paula Stroud Scoggins.  Those left to cherish his memory are children: Robert Scoggins, Cody Scoggins, and Kasey Scoggins; 6 grandchildren, siblings: Richard Scoggins, Gary Scoggins and Patricia Ann Brayley, numerous extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
