Cecil Thomas Stuart

Cecil Thomas Stuart, 83, passed away on August 7, 2025 and entered his heavenly home after enduring declining health over the past year.

Cecil was born in Houston, Texas on February 2, 1942 to Oma Ree and Cecil Jack Stuart. He was raised in the Houston area before moving to DFW metroplex where he married his wife of 40 years, Mary. They raised their son, Tom, who was the light of their life. Cecil served in the banking and computer-related industries until his retirement in 2005.

After losing his beloved wife, Mary in 2002, he eventually met his new mate, Jo Walden at 24-Hour Fitness. They married on February 2, 2005. They shared over 20 years together, traveling, working part-time jobs and just enjoying life! Over the years, Cecil was an avid golfer, fisherman and enjoyed keeping himself physically fit.

Cecil was a gentle, loving soul who loved and cherished his fellow man. He was much move comfortable giving than receiving. He loved his God, country, family and friends. His loved ones knew he was "Christian to the core." He served his Maker well.

Cecil is preceded in death by his beloved Mary, parents Cecil Jack and Oma Ree Stuart and brother, David Stuart. He is survived by his wife Jo Walden Stuart, son, Tom and wife, Lisa, bonus children John and wife, Dorinda, Keri Houston and husband Phil, two brothers, Marvin Stuart and wife, Loreitta, James Stuart and wife, Fay and sister, Marie Stockdick and husband, Terry.

Grandchildren: Sydney Stuart, Chloe Stuart

Bonus Grandchildren: MiKayla Clickner, Candice Ross, Chelsea Sauer, Shelbey Doty
