Carol Ann Huestis

Carol Ann Huestis age 84, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023.  She was born in Akron, Ohio to William Leroy Colby & Stella (Marks) Colby on April 18, 1939.  She is survived by her beloved sister & caretaker Mary Brunton,  5 children, John Reitz (Laura) of Santos, TX, Jeff Reitz (Colleen) of Gardnerville, NV, Jill Johnsey of Buffalo Gap, TN, Joanne Reitz of Kaufman, TX & Janet Thornton of Marysville, TN along with 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and her beloved little dog Mooie.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Sandra Jean Colby, her uncles Ladd Marks & Joseph Marks of Akron, Ohio.  

 

She was a woman of  great compassion and kindness to those less fortunate.  She loved The Lord and prayed continually for the souls of others.  She loved crafting, decorating & gardening and will always be remembered for her beautiful smile.
