Carmen Espinosa

Carmen Espinosa, a beloved soul from Kaufman, has passed away at the age of 82. Born in Lampasas, Coahuila, Mexico, on April 12, 1942, Carmen was known for her warmth and vivacious personality.
 
Throughout her life, Carmen dedicated ten years to her craft as a seamstress at the drapery company in Kaufman. Her skills and talents left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of encountering her work.
 
Carmen's love for cooking, visiting friends, and traveling to Las Vegas and Florida to be with relatives, brought her immense joy. Her fondness for reminiscing with family was evident in the cherished moments she shared with loved ones. However, it was in the role of a grandparent where Carmen found her truest happiness.
 
She leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will be forever cherished by her surviving family: sons Rumaldo Espinosa, Savino Espinosa, Antonio Espinoza, Margarito Espinosa, Raymond Espinoza, and Roman Espinosa; brother Porfirio Lopez; thirteen (13) grandchildren, three (3) step-grandchildren; eleven (11), great-grandchildren.
 
Carmen is predeceased by her father, Juan Lopez, mother, Carmen Lopez, son, Nicolas Espinoza, sister, Guadalupe, brothers Lazaro Lopez and Exaltacion Lopez.
 
A visitation and wake will take place on Thursday, May 9th at Anderson-Clayton Funeral Home Chapel in Kaufman from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass will follow on Friday, May 10th, at St Ann Catholic Church in Kaufman at 10:00 AM with a visitation prior to Mass at 9:00 am. Interment at Gossett Cemetery in Tolosa at 11:30 AM follows the Celebration of Mass.
 
Carmen Espinosa's light may have dimmed here on earth, but it shines brightly in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and loving nature as she embarks on her next journey beyond this earth.
