Barbara Jean Baldree

Barbara Jean Baldree, 89, of Kemp, TX passed away on December 13, 2019 at home with family beside her. Barbara was born on April 1, 1930 to William Theodore and Ava Lavada Boen in Brice, TX. She was raised in California before moving back to Texas in 1957. Barbara retired from McDonald's Cafe in Terrell, TX after working there for 22 years. She enjoyed dancing and when she could working in the yard. Barbara loved to cook, especially for her family. She was a beloved Mother and Grandmother. Her parents, sisters: Ruda Pierce, Juanita Peckham and Laura Boen; brothers: Eugene Boen and Leon Boen; children: Marvin Kirk, Alice Brooks and Sherry Peckham; 5 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild preceded her in death. Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Ruby Peckham of Mineola, TX, Wanda Johnson and husband Gerald of Marlow, OK, Doyle Kirk and his wife Cindy of Arlington, TX, Tammy Hunter and her husband Tony of Kaufman, TX and Rita Baldree of Kemp, TX; sister-in-law Ruthel Boen;  20 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, 20 great-great grandchildren, numerous extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
