Ann A. Jones was born in Clarksville, TX June 18, 1933, and passed away peacefully on August 15th, 2021. Ann is survived by her son Clay Jones (Benita), son Keith Jones (Kathy), daughter Patricia Green (David), daughter-in-law Tammye Jones, sister-in-law Brownie Kelley, grandchildren Cean, Keith, Leah, Jacob, Jackie, and Clint, eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Phil Jones, her eldest son John and her brother, Lewis Kelley. Ann moved to Waco when she was a young girl. After graduating high school, Ann met her soulmate and future husband, Phil Jones who recently returned home from the Navy. Ann and Phil married in 1954 and she was instantly adopted into the family and was very close to her mother-in-law. Ann and Phil resided in Waco early in their marriage before moving to Grand Prairie then settling in Irving to raise their family. Ann loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and had a special bond with each one as well as her great-grandchildren. Ann loved it when the grandchildren spent the night, and she could spoil them without anyone watching. Ann loved to fish, and the family took several vacations that consisted of her hobby which she passed on to her kids and grandkids. She also loved watching the birds in her yard especially the hummingbirds as they were her favorite. After retiring, Ann moved to Kaufman enjoying her time in the country. She also got to enjoy her hobby by fishing one of the tanks. She would always say how peaceful it was watching the sunset. Now is the time for us to celebrate Ann while she watches the sunsets with Phil and John.
