Ben Harvey Wiley

BEN HARVEY WILEY Ben Harvey Wiley of Scurry was born in Moffett, Texas on October 9, 1931 to Ben and Gurdie Howard Wiley. Ben passed away in a Kaufman hospital on October 20, 2008. Ben was raised in the Waco area and then entered the U. S. Army and served in the Korean Conflict. He worked for the Ford Motor Company in Dallas and then began working for the General Motors Assembly Plant in Arlington. Ben retired in the early 90's. He married Eva Lamb in Dallas on December 16, 1955 and she preceded him in death on December 10, 2002. Ben is survived by his son: Harvey of Scurry, brother: Jack Wiley of Bruceville, Texas, sisters: Louise Phillips of Wylie, Beatrice Wiley of McGregor, Olean Ellis of McGregor and Patsy Holden of Gatesville, adopted grandchildren: Courtney, Justin, Mikela and Rachel and many other relatives and friends.
