Ruth Therese Pettigrew

RUTH THERESE PETTIGREW Ruth Therese Pettigrew was born in Munster, Texas on July 9, 1933 to John and Ursula Koelzer Herr. Therese passed away in Kaufman, Texas on July 29, 2008. She was raised in Munster and then moved to Dallas. Therese moved to Kaufman in 1954 and later moved to Sherman where she lived for ten years before moving back to Kaufman. Therese worked for First United Methodist Church and then the Kaufman Health Clinic. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Kaufman. Her parents and a son-in-law Russell Slayton and a daughter-in-law Jerri Pettigrew preceded Therese in death. Therese is survived by her sons: Tim Pettigrew and his wife Debbie of Kaufman and Ronny Pettigrew of Scurry, daughter: Sherrie Slayton of Scurry, brother: Richard Herr of Munster, sisters: Jean Brown of Gun Barrel, Ann Bengford of Lindsey, Pat Brown of Checotah, OK, and Alma Marr of Westview, Kentucky, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, August 1, 2008 at 10: 00 A.M. at Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home with interment following in Kaufman Cemetery.
