Dorothy Lee Cochran

DOROTHY "DOTTIE" COCHRAN Dorothy "Dottie" Cochran was born in Altus, Oklahoma on October 9, 1944 to Terrell and Helen Shelton Speed. Dottie passed away in a Dallas hospital on October 16, 2008. Dottie was raised in Oklahoma and moved to Texas when she was sixteen. She moved to Waco and later moved to Dallas in 1977. Dottie moved to Rosser in 1991. She was the personnel director for Ernst & Whinney Accounting firm in Dallas for three years and later worked for County Judge Wayne Gent in Kaufman for three years. Dottie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rosser. On, March 19, 1977 Dottie married Fred Cochran in Waco. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughters, Tammy Williams and Barbara Cochran. Dottie is survived by her husband: Fred of Rosser, sons: Andy Williams of Waco, David Cochran of Burleson and Rick Mason of Fort Worth, brother: Alan Speed of Dallas, nine grandchildren, great-grandchildren: Halee Williams, Savannah Cochran, Rylan Willis and Kyndel Hamilton.
