Justin Rudy Smiley

JUSTIN RUDY SMILEY Justin Rudy Smiley was born in Athens, Texas on April 12, 1944 to Joe and Donnie Hood Smiley. Rudy passed away in a Kaufman, Texas hospital on July 28, 2008. Rudy was raised in Athens and later moved to Kaufman in 1966. He worked for the Texas Highway Department for 32 years and then retired from Kaufman County Precinct 1 in 2005. Rudy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kaufman. On February 24, 1965 Rudy married Reba Henderson in Athens. Rudy is survived by his wife Reba of Kaufman, son: Rudy Smiley and his wife Kim of Kaufman, daughter: Janna Johnson and her husband Johnny of Kaufman, brothers: Joffery Smiley of Tyler, Jim Don Smiley of Tyler, Joe Henry Smiley of Athens and Ronnie Jack Smiley of Chandler, sisters: Margaret Mitchum of Athens and Shirley Culpepper of Irving, granddaughters: Chrystal, Kaylon, Joni, Khloe and Holly and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home with interment following in King Cemetery.
