Verna Inez Foster

Verna Inez Foster was born in Kemp, Texas on September 27, 1921 to Paul and Myrtle Houston Foster. Verna passed away in Kaufman, Texas on June 18, 2008. Verna was raised in the Becker Community where she lived all of her life. She was a member of the Becker United Methodist Church since 1943. Verna owned and operated the MOD Beauty Shop in Kaufman for over twenty years. She married William H. Foster in Kaufman on November 25, 1939. Her husband William Foster preceded her in death on August 31, 2006 and a grandson Bryan Foster also preceded her in death. Verna is survived by her son: Paul Foster of Kaufman, grandson: Mackey Foster of Kaufman and nieces, nephews and many other relatives. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 21, 2008 at Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home with interment following in Kemp Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home of Kaufman.
